The testers are back, and they are heading out on the road today to begin the second round of mobile broadband testing across the state. Summary data from the first round of testing is available for download from the CPUC's web site (see previous post), and we will soon be posting a staff report with analysis of that data.
Because Mobile App Testing tools are usually priced by the number of simultaneous users it can generate, it is tempting to lower the think time or increase the simulated bandwidth and run the test with a lower number of VUs than needed. Then, estimate the number of users the system can handle based on this scaling this (flawed) data.
